How do I find the information needed so that a node-locked license can be created?

Currently we provide node-locked licensing for Fusion, Shake, Autodesk Systems (Sparks), OFX, Avid and Softimage|XSI versions of our plugins.

In this FAQ we describe how to find the information we need to create your node-locked license.

Autodesk Systems (Sparks)

How to find your machine information so that we can create node-locked licenses for our Sparks plugins

Irix

Run
        sysinfo -s
and return to us the result. Note: the "-s" is important.

Linux

Return to us one of the machine's MAC/ethernet addresses. If you don't know how to do that, run
        /sbin/ifconfig -a
and return to us the result.
Avid Systems

How to find your Avid serial number

First: Install the demo version of ReelSmart Motion Blur (RSMB) or Twixtor (whichever product you will be using within your Avid product).

Then, restart your Avid system.

After installing the demo version of RSMB or Twixtor, apply the plugin to a clip. The serial number is displayed you go to register the plugin. If you do not have a valid registration key for RSMB or Twixtor, don't worry... we are sending you to the registration area because the information you need to send to us to make a registration key is displayed on the registration dialog box. After applying the plugin, click on the "About" box .

After you click on the "About" box, a registration window will come up with the serial number:

On Macintosh, there is an interim dialog box and you must click the "Enter Registation Key" button.

Then another dialog box appears with the serial number.

On Windows:

This serial number displayed (the 8 to 12 digit number) is what we need to create a license for you. This is the serial number you should return to us when asked for a serial number, and is also the number you need to put in our "machine info" area on our checkout page when ordering a plugin.
