Version 3.1.6 | November 12, 2008
- Version 3.1.6 fixes a bug that can cause RE:Flex to crash or exhibit unexpected results when using boundaries.
Version 3.1.4 | July 13, 2006
- Version 3.1.4 is essentially the same as version 3.1 for After Effects users (the 3.1.4 update is for combustion users)
Version 3.1 | March 24, 2006
- Adds support for 32 bit HDR (unclamped floating point) processing for After Effect 7 users
- New temporal smoothing method for situations where the spline animation is smooth, but the resulting warp or morph from RE:Flex is not. This option smooths out any jitters (as a result, this setting can give substantially different results depending on whether it is set On or not).
- Better auto-align behavior that is less jittery.
- After Effects 7 users on Macintosh will see a significant improvement on G5 CPUs running Mac OS 10.4 (Tiger).
- On the Macintosh, make sure to delete the previous set of plugins for Twixtor in your plugins folder, because the name of the plugin files have been changed
Version 3.0.5 | December 10, 2005
- Fixed a bug introduced in 3.0.4 where per-spline color blending broke when NOT using Smart Blend in the two morph plugins of RE:Flex.
Version 3.0.4 | December 7, 2005
- Fixed a problem where boundaries do not work in 16 bits-per-channel projects.
- Enhanced Smart Blend support for images that don't have full-on alpha everywhere.
Version 3.0.3 | August 8, 2005
- Fixed a problem where the slider ranges and default settings for Global Warp % in RE:Flex Warp and Global Shape % and Global Blend % in RE:Flex Motion Morph were incorrect.
Version 3.0.2 | July 27, 2005
- Initial RE:FLex 3 release for After Effects.
- New anti-aliasing setting that uses less memory (but at the expense of speed). In the new method antialising is performed by repeated offset renders, with buffer accumulation. The old method is still available to users.
- Auto-align feature uses the improved Twixtor 4.5 tracking which provides more precise results than with previous versions of RE:Flex.
- The addition of mipmapping. Now RE:Flex can be set to give better filtering results when parts of an image a squished by a factor of 2 or more.
