[Martinez, CA] RE:Vision Effects, Inc. is pleased to announce it has been awarded an Engineering Emmy by the Television Academy for exceptional engineering developments for our visual effects and video processing software. The Engineering Emmy Awards ceremony will stream live on Emmys.com on Thursday, Oct. 29, at 5:00 p.m. PDT.
The creative community has relied on RE:Vision Effects for over 20 years. RE:Vision Effects introduced the industry to optical flow-based post-production video tools via Twixtor®, ReelSmart Motion Blur®, RE:Flex®, and others. RE:Vision Effects supplies their technology as plug-ins to a wide range of host applications and interfaces that are already familiar to the user.
Our users create television content, movies, commercials, station identification and live event programming. Our products utilize computer vision and tracking technologies while maintaining computer graphics rendering accuracy and optimized video processing. Twixtor® uses optical flow to slow down sequences. ReelSmart Motion Blur® adds motion blur in post, saving a tremendous amount of 3d rendering time, and fixes frame stutter. RE:Flex, RE:Match, DE:Noise, DEFlicker and FieldsKit also use optical flow technology.
RE:Vision Effects products are designed to handle certain tasks such as slow motion, grading, morphing, deflickering, denoising, lens correction, and more. Each product has automatic modes, but also provides advanced settings to give the ultimate control for users. By giving access to some of the subtler settings, we find that our products are used in ways we’ve never imagined. Our users tell us the problems they encounter frequently, and these discussions drive our product development. Time and time again our users report to us that our products have come to their rescue in many tricky situations.
Our comprehensive range of VFX and video image processing plug-ins are part of many project pipelines. We support most of the major applications for editing, compositing and finishing. Our motto is “We work where you work.”
“Thank you to the Television Academy for this honor! We take this happy moment to thank all our clients who continually challenge us with interesting problems and inspire us to push the envelope. You now use Emmy winning software!”
Pierre Jasmin, President and Co-founder.
