RE:Vision Effects announces ReelSmart Motion Blur Version 1.6, an After Effects plugin that applies more natural-looking motion blur to a video sequence by automatically tracking every pixel. RE:Vision?s tracking technology is at the heart of ReelSmart Motion Blur, so there is no handwork involved. Users can add as little or as much blurring as is needed. For 3D animation ReelSmart Motion Blur can be used as a post process, eliminating the need for unnecessarily long render times to calculate motion blur in a 3D system.
Version 1.6 has the following changes from previous versions:
# ReelSmart Motion Blur 1.6 is now much faster, taking 40% less time… what used to take 10 minutes now takes 6 minutes.
# ReelSmart Motion Blur 1.6 now works perfectly in Final Cut Pro 1.2.5 (RSMB 1.5 worked awkwardly with Final Cut Pro). , in addition to may other applications, such as After Effects 3.1, 4.0, 4.1, Commotion and combustion*.
ReelSmart Motion Blur is available for both Macintosh and Windows and is priced at just $89.95. The plugin currently works in After Effects 3.1, 4.0 and 4.1, Final Cut Pro 1.2.5, Commotion 2.0 (and later), combustion* and most applications that support After Effects plug-ins.
Demo versions of ReelSmart Motion Blur 1.6 are available on the RE:Vision Effects website, http://www.revisionfx.com.
